WWE needs to improve. The product often falls short. The product often falls short because management lacks common sense.
At the Royal Rumble, WWE proved my point. The last match of the pay-per-view was a mess. Romain Reigns got screwed. The company booked him to look weak. He needed help from The Rock to overcome The Big Show and Kane. At the end of the match, the crowd in Philadelphia was not happy.
Because of the Royal Rumble, WWE had to use Fastlane to help Reigns. Reigns wrestled Daniel Bryan. He pinned Bryan. After the match, Bryan showed Reigns a sign of respect. The sign of respect was supposed to get Reigns over with the fans. After all, WrestleMania was around the corner.
Sadly, WWE’s plan did not work. The fans did not want to see Reigns fight WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Leasner at WrestleMania. In order to fix the match, WWE added Seth Rollins to the mix.
During the title match, Rollins decided to cash-in the Money in the Bank briefcase. At the end of the contest, now a triple-threat match, Rollins would pin Reigns to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
By allowing Reigns to lose at WrestleMania, WWE showed a lack of common sense and stupidity. The company wasted about three months building a wrestler that fans did not want to see in the main spot.
Because of the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania issues, it is time for WWE to fix the current product. The fans want a product that makes sense. The fans want to see story lines that build wrestlers and feuds gradually. When feuds and wrestlers get built over time, fans are more likely to care about the product and invest their time.
In the end, WWE needs to give fans what they want. The fans want a product that makes sense over time.
After all, WWE should not want another wrestler to get hurt like Reigns.
WWE Destroys the U.S. Championship
The guy has a chance to be one of the company’s biggest heels. In order to take Ruesev to the next level, WWE should destroy the U.S. Championship and create the Russian Championship. Having the new belt would put heat on Ruesev because wrestling history would be trashed.
Three Hours of “Raw”
Three hours of “RAW” is too long. The company needs to realize fans have a hard time sitting through the show. They have a hard time because “Raw” is filled with segments that have no purpose.
Stop the Scripted Promos
Promos need to create tension between characters. Verbal spats are supposed to make fans feel the heat between characters.
Unfortunately, today’s promos don’t create much tension. This is because promos are scripted. The scripted promo hurts a feud’s creativity. When wrestlers are not allowed to share their personalities and feelings, story lines often lack passion. The lack of passion makes fans not want to care about feuds.
Remember, if fans don’t care about story lines, some
